Cocktail Ring: responsibly sourced sterling silver or gold, ethically sourced 6.14ct fantasy cut Brazilian prasiolite.
In many ancient traditions bread was made from the newly harvested grains and brought to the temple as an offering alongside the first fruits of the harvest. Wheat thus became a symbol for generosity and plentifulness which is used as a motif in many cultures. The Feast of Weeks is a limited edition wheat motif ring made using CAD modelling and 3D printing. Bringing together old and new.
The ring is made to order from responsibly sourced gold or silver and set with a 6.14ct ethically sourced prasiolite (green amethyst).
The Feast of Weeks was exhibited in Queensland’s Parliament House in 2022 as a showcase of Queensland’s artistic excellence, curated by artisan Gallery. This piece was also selected for artisan Collects (2022), a collaborative initiative between Malki Studio and artisan Gallery that invited collectors to explore jewellery as an art form.
