The Mooka Creek Collection pays tribute to the only known source of mookaite jasper, a microcrystalline form of quartz from Mooka Creek, Western Australia.
Varying levels of chemical impurities give mookaite jasper dramatic desert hues and patterns which recall the untamed beauty of the Australian land. The close relationship between mookaite jasper and the Australian land is strengthened by the use of ceramics, which similarly comes from the ground and bares contrasting colours and textures inspired by the emotional landscapes of this land.
