Lia Anderson

I am a jewellery artist and product designer with a strong foundation in studio-based silversmithing. My practice is driven by narrative and emotional resonance, creating pieces that are considered, intimate, and expressive - exploring form, meaning, and the relationship between object and wearer.

As co-founder of Malki Studio, I design and develop small-scale collections and one-off works, guiding each project from initial concept through to a resolved, wearable outcome. I blend traditional crafting techniques such as saw cutting, soldering, metal forming, cold connections, gem setting, and lost wax casting with contemporary digital processes including CAD modelling for 3D printing in castable resin. Alongside making, I contribute to the studio’s visual direction through graphics, branding, styling, photography, marketing, and content creation, ensuring a cohesive and considered identity across all touchpoints.
